Of the four different books I recently purchased about being a caregiver this one is my FAVORITE. I am reading it as a daily devotional and it really is perfect for my situation of taking care of my 87 yr. old mother who now lives with us and has Dementia. The author shares REAL feelings and I find I think like she does!! This is a wonderful book. You won't feel like you are alone and it is a great book with plenty of scripture to encourage you along the way.Product details

My wife purchased this and I read it as well. If you have someone in the family with Alzheimer's and you are looking for a better understanding of what to expect and how you can help, read this book.
When you read this book and reflect back on the words, knowing that it is real life NOT real life for show you become a wash of the emotion and depth of love, compassion and commitment all humans have. This book shows you a day by day path for you to overcome the frustrations and sorrows of care giving for a loved one and embraces the need for your responsibility. You are inspired not just in helping others but in the fueling your own heart and humanity. You don’t build a success it builds a better soul.
My wife has Parkinson’s not Alzheimer’s but as a caregiver this book inspires’.
